The "Old Shipyard Penthouse" is located on the top (seventh) story of a building belonging to one of Gdansk's most prestigious housing projects – Brabank, near the charming streets of Old Town Gdańsk.

From its windows, there is a magnificent view of the historic Gdansk Shipyard and the Motława, which means the scenery outside is always changing with the time of day, allowing you to discover something new every time you take a look.

The 80-meter penthouse consists of two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a spacious living room combined with a dining room and a kitchen – all fully equipped to make guests feel right at home.

The large 20-meter sun-soaked terrace allows you to enjoy the view of sailing ships not only on clear days. The apartment also has a spacious parking spot in the garage in case you decide to drive here or rent a car.

Guests are provided with towels and items for basic hygiene. On request, food is also provided.

The "Old Shipyard Penthouse" offers its inhabitants comfort not just at the weekend – it is also available during weekdays. In the same building, there is also a gym, sauna (steam and dry), and a billiard table.

Nearby, there are museums, restaurants, and cafes, as well as a selection of grocery stores.

Bedrooms

The penthouse has two separate bedrooms equipped with comfortable large beds, wardrobes, tables, and night lamps. In one of the bedrooms it is possible to separate the beds, creating two separate sleeping areas. In the living room, there is a large comfortable sofa which also doubles as a sofa bed. All windows are decorated with "black out" curtains that can completely darken the bedroom.

Kitchen

The spacious, fully equipped kitchen has all the amenities you need for a comfortable penthouse experience. In the kitchen there is, among others, a coffee maker, electric kettle, dishwasher, refrigerator, juicer, blender, toaster, microwave, and an oven. Glasses, decanters, dinnerware, and a Rosenthal coffee set for 8 people are also provided. At the dining room’s luxurious table, you can spend beautiful moments in the company of the people closest to you.

Garage

A spacious parking spot in the garage, located right next to the entrance to the elevator.

Terrace

The large 20-meter sun-soaked terrace allows you to relax and enjoy the view of industrial Gdansk. The cranes of the historic Gdansk Shipyard, ships and yachts floating on the Motława River give it a unique atmosphere. On sunny days, part of the terrace is covered with sunlight while the other one is shaded, giving everyone options and comfort.

Toilets

In the penthouse, we have an exquisite bathroom equipped with a shower and an additional second toilet. You will find everything you need including a hairdryer, washer/dryer, iron, and an ironing board.

Lobby

In the building where the “Old Shipyard Penthouse” is located, there is a gym, sauna (dry and steam), and a club room with billiards.

Position

The "Old Shipyard Penthouse" is situated in the centre of Gdansk, making it one of the best located new facilities of this type in Gdansk.

It is 500 meters away from the so-called “Crane Gate”, 300 meters from the Polish Baltic Philharmonic, only 100 meters from the Museum of World War II, about 1500 meters from the European Solidarity Museum, and 500 meters from the National Maritime Museum.

In addition, 700 meters from the penthouse there is a marina from which you can sail to the Hel Peninsula.

The Central Railway Station Gdańsk Główny is about 1.5 km away. The journey time is 6 minutes.

The closest airport is Gdańsk Airport, located 13 km away. The journey time is about 25 minutes.

Recreation

Due to its location, the penthouse is an ideal starting point for hiking, biking, motorbiking, and sailing. The city of Gdańsk is well equipped to give you the possibility to rent all sorts of equipment.

From the nearby harbour, there are regular cruise liners to the Hel Peninsula and to the surrounding Baltic Sea cities. The penthouse has extensive information on local attractions.

Shopping

In the apartment complex, there are, among others, grocery stores and plenty of restaurants and cafes. In August each year, a Dominican fair – which is completely unique on a national scale – is celebrated in Gdansk, the tradition of which dates back to 1260, and which is drawing thousands of artists, artisans, and collectors every year, not only from the whole country, but also from across the world.

Harbour

From the "Old Shipyard Penthouse" you can observe the floating Motława ships and yachts. On the other side of the Motława there is a marina at Old Grobla II street, and additionally, less than half a mile up the Motława River, there is the Gdansk Marina, located along the Szafarnia quay. The yacht harbour is located in the very centre of old Gdansk. The port accommodates 60 sailing or motor yachts (with a maximum depth of 3.5 meters).

The proximity of the marina makes the penthouse ideal for sailing enthusiasts who want to take in the beautiful sea views from the mainland and the comfort of the terrace.
